LPG Cylinder Requalification Hydrostatic Testing Machine Tilting Steel Constructed Frame
Hydrostatic testing of LPG cylinders is typically performed at regular intervals, which are determined by regulatory agencies and industry standards. For example, in the United States, DOT regulations require hydrostatic testing of LPG cylinders every five years, while in the European Union, ADR regulations require testing every 10 years.
During the testing process, the LPG cylinder is filled with water and placed in the hydrostatic testing machine. The machine then pressurizes the cylinder to a predetermined level, typically between 1.5 and 2 times its working pressure, and holds it at that pressure for a set amount of time, usually between 30 and 60 seconds.
